Compliance & certificationsmay not be turned on for your workspace or plan. If you don't see it, contact your workspace admin.

Compliance tracks the certificates behind safe work — a technician’s electrical licence, an asset’s pressure-vessel certificate, a site’s fire certificate, a vendor’s accreditation. Belrald Assets warns you before they lapse and stops uncertified people being assigned to work that requires them.

Find it under Governance → Compliance.

Add a certification

1. Go to Compliance → Certifications and select Add certification.
2. Choose the Subject type — technician, asset, location or vendor.
3. Choose the Subject itself.
4. Choose the Certification type, or add a Custom type… if yours is not listed.
5. Enter the Issuing body.
6. Enter the Certificate number.
7. Set Issued and Expires.
8. Attach the Certificate PDF.
9. Save the certification.

Caution

The expiry date must be after the issue date, or the certification is rejected. Copy both from the certificate itself rather than estimating.

How expiry works

A certification’s status is recalculated for you every day at 02:00 UTC — you cannot set it by hand:

• Valid — in date.
• Expiring soon — within 60 days of expiry.
• Expired — past its expiry date.
• Revoked — the only status you set yourself, for a certificate withdrawn early.

Belrald Assets raises a notification when a certificate becomes expiring-soon and again when it expires. A vendor whose certification expires is suspended automatically.

Note

A revoked certification cannot be edited. Add a replacement rather than trying to correct it.

What the certification gate blocks

When a work-order category requires a certification, Belrald Assets checks the technician before letting you assign the job. It blocks the assignment when the certificate is missing, revoked, or expires before the work is due, and it tells you which certificate is at fault so you can view it or choose another technician.

The same check runs in auto-assignment and resource levelling, so unqualified people are never scheduled onto restricted work by accident.

Statements of Applicability

For each standard you work to, the Statements of Applicability view lists its controls. For each control, record whether it is applicable, its implementation status — Not started, Planned, Partial or Implemented — a justification, and which parts of the product satisfy it.

Supported standards are ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 22301:2019, SOC 2 (2017 TSC) and PCI DSS v4.0.

Note

Only owners and admins can change controls. Everyone else sees the statement read-only.

Handling rules and reports

Handling Rules set how each data classification — public, internal, confidential, restricted — must be handled. These rules are what the disposal process reads when it decides an asset needs a sanitisation certificate.

Reports gives you a compliance picture across the workspace, filtered by location or by technician.
