# Special Letters

To begin, you'll need to create a distribution list for your letter in the 'Settings' section of the page and an example of a distribution list to be created here is the distribution of the acceptance letter for newly admitted students. In this instance, all students should be targeted in the selection process to ensure that each newly admitted student receives the necessary communication.

Once you've established your distribution list, return to the 'Special Letters' section. Here, you can select the session to target your letter, by choosing from the session dropdown menu. Then, simply click the 'Add Special Letter' button located at the top right corner of the page.

On the letter creation page, enter the necessary details for your letter. Click 'Next' to proceed to the composition stage, where you can craft the content of your letter. Once your letter is ready, you have two options: you can either distribute it immediately to the intended recipients or schedule it for a specific date and time.

Upon creating a special letter, it is essential to publish it first to ensure recipients can receive and take necessary actions. Publishing the letter makes it accessible to the intended recipients, enabling them to promptly access and respond to its contents. Additionally, the platform allows you the flexibility to edit or remove any previously created special letters as needed, ensuring you maintain complete control over your communication
