Administrator
Welcome to the Add Administrator Page. This page serves as the control center where you can designate, empower staff members and enhance the administrative prowess of your institution.
To add an administrator, you must first create the staff member who will assume this role. To do these seamlessly, Follow these steps:
Step 1: Create a Staff Member
Navigate to the Dashboard: Click on your university's name or logo to return to the dashboard.
Access Personnel Unit: On the dashboard, find and click on the "Personnel Unit."
Specify Staff Designation: Before adding a staff member, you need to specify their designation. To do this, click on the "Designation Unit" in the sidebar.
Add Designation: Inside the designation unit, click on "Add Designation" or "Create New" to create the designation name that best fits the staff member's role.
Edit Designation (Optional): If needed, you can make adjustments to the designation name by selecting the designation unit you want to edit, click on the "Actions" button and select the desired action from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Add Staff Member
Proceed to Adding Staff: Once you've successfully created the designation name, go ahead and add the staff member by clicking on the "Staff Access Unit" in the sidebar.
Create Staff Member: On the staff creation page, click on "Add Staff" or "Create New", and input all the necessary details for the staff member you're creating. To add an administrator under each unit while filling the details under the "Organization unit" section, choose exact unit from the dropdown, e.g "Admissions", to ensure the staff is successfully added to the admissions unit.
Step 3: Assign Administrative Role
Assign Administrative Role: On the dashboard, click on the unit you want to add an administrator under, e.g Admissions. Once you are inside this unit, Click on the Administrator feature on the side bar.
On the add administrator page, click on "Create New," Select the name of the staff you want to assign an administrative role to, and specify the access you'd like the staff to have.
